Service Description

Growing up with Cerebral Palsy (CP) I was written off by doctors; told I would never walk, discharged from lifetime physio at 14. The general understanding of CP even know is severely lacking mainly because most in the medical profession don't think much can be done for brain damage. I was lucky my great-grandmother was alive during my early years as she spent hours doing home-physio, massage and strength training with myself and teaching my parents. Now I am taking the same tools given to me to help other children and adults with Cerebral Palsy. My work as a therapist has taken me to Canada & Australia, seen me give lectures for Neurologists, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and other medical professionals. My Philosophy puts massage therapy as the key, combining stretching and mobility work before then moving onto strengthening. I have worked with children as young as 18 months old to elite CP athletes
